Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Trend Local, run by Steven Teel in Texas, USA. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Trend Local
You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding agreement. You're responsible for your account and everything done with it. Give accurate information about yourself or your business.
Community rules: zero tolerance
Trend Local has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may not post, send or do any of the following:
- Harassment, threats, bullying, or hate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other identity.
- Sexual or nude content, or anything involving minors.
- Violence, illegal activity, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Spam, scams, or asking for money or personal information under false pretenses.
- Pretending to be someone else, fake businesses, or bought or fake followers.
- Anything that infringes someone else's rights, including photos you don't own.
You can report any profile or message from its menu, and block anyone at any time. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these rules. Members who break them are removed from Trend Local.
Collabs between members
Trend Local helps creators and businesses find each other. Any collab, trade, gift or payment you agree to is between you and the other member. We aren't part of that agreement, and we don't guarantee that any member will do what they promised, or any results from a collab. Use good judgment, and meet in public places.
Creators are responsible for following advertising rules, including clearly disclosing sponsored or gifted content (for example with #ad), as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires.
Your content
You own what you post. You give Trend Local permission to store and show it in the app so the service works, for as long as it's on your account. You're responsible for having the right to post it.
Business information
Business listings and photos come from public map data and Google Maps Platform. They may be incomplete or out of date. Photos belong to their credited owners.
Ending your account
You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put other members at risk.
No warranty
Trend Local is provided "as is". We work to keep it running well, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every member is who they say they are.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Trend Local isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens between members, on or off the app. Our total liability to you is limited to $100.
Apple
These terms are between you and Trend Local, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA. If we change them, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app if the change is important. Questions: support@trendlocal.app.
